What this is
South African funds, insurers, and estates hold benefits whose owners could not be reached — members who moved, beneficiaries who were never told, dependants a fund could not find. Retirement funds, for example, must distribute death benefits to dependants under section 37C of the Pension Funds Act, and they cannot do that for people they cannot locate.
When you register, we check your details against records we can lawfully access, and keep checking as new information becomes available. Registration is free and does not commit you to anything.

How to stay safe
